Thank you for shopping with Curved Rose. These terms and conditions apply to the use of curvedrose.com, please read them carefully before using this website.  By using this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.

Please also make sure that you have read our Privacy Policy, this explains how we will use any data that you supply us.

Any use of the site or its content (including images, designs, illustrations, photographs, names and web code), including copying or storing any part other than for your own personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without the permission of Curved Rose.

We may revise any part of these terms and conditions at any time without notice. You should check this website from time to time to review the current terms and conditions.

Curevedrose.com is owned and operated by Curved Rose. All trading is carried out under the company name of Curved Rose.

Buying Products from Curved Rose

Every effort is made to display and describe images of products with accuracy, including sizes, colours, shapes and detail. The exactness of these attributes is occasionally out of our control as many items are individually made and may contain natural or synthetic stones.

We reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been mis-published (this could include prices and promotions).

Our pricing can be subject to factors such as the global silver price, therefore prices may fluctuate from time to time and are subject to change without notice. Our prices are inclusive of VAT.

Goods are subject to availability. If an item you have ordered becomes out of stock before we accept the order, we shall notify you as soon as possible and you will not be charged for items that are out of stock.

You will be required to provide us with some personal information when placing an order with Curved Rose. A valid email address is required for confirmation of orders and communication. A telephone number is also required – this will only be used if there is a problem with your order.

Once an order has been accepted, you will receive written confirmation of your purchase (via email).

We hope you are happy with your purchase, however, in line with the Distance Selling Regulations a seven-day ‘cooling-off’ period is offered when buying products from Curved Rose. During this time, which starts when you receive the products, an order can be cancelled and a full refund will be made. Should you wish to cancel an order, please e-mail customercare@curvedrose.com 

Payment and Payment Security

The total price payable includes the cost of the goods as well as postage and packaging (including VAT).

Curved Rose use Secure Trading, a registered and secure electronic payment company to accept and authorise payments for products purchased on curvedrose.com. Secure Trading are fully Level 1 PCI DSS accredited which means we offer the highest levels of security.

All payments are subject to validation by the card issuer. Curved Rose does not accept responsibility for the refusal of a card payment and will not be held liable for any delay or non-delivery. Curved Rose does not store any of your card details. 

Delivery of Your Goods

Accepted orders will be dispatched one to three days from the day of acceptance unless that day falls on a weekend or public holiday. In this event, the goods will be dispatched as soon as it is possible.

It may take up to five days to dispatch an order around busy periods, such as the Christmas period - please also allow extra time for the post around these times.

Delivery within the UK may also take a little longer if the delivery address is on an island or a remote part of the mainland – in accordance with Royal Mail’s delivery exceptions (http://www.royalmail.com/delivery/mail-advice/delivery-exceptions).

Please note, timescales for deliveries to the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands are subject to Royal Mail’s delivery guidelines for these regions.

Curved Rose does not accept responsibility for items delayed or lost in transit due to a third party.

Exchanges and Returns

If for any reason you need to return an item, please e-mail returns@curvedrose.com to let us know and for detailed instructions on how to return the product to us.

In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return the item(s) to us within 14 days of receipt of order for a full refund or within 30 days of receipt of order for an exchange. We will be happy to refund or exchange providing the products are returned in perfect condition, unworn and suitable for re-sale.

Items should be returned securely in their original packaging. You will also need to include a copy of your receipt / order confirmation - which you will have received by email upon the acceptance of you order. Items should be returned to the address below:

Please look after the products while they are in your possession and we strongly suggest you obtain proof of postage when returning any items to us - we cannot except responsibility for items that are lost or damaged while in your possession or in transit.

Refund payments will only be made to the original card the items were purchased with. This is to protect our customers from card fraud.

If you are returning something due to a fault or mistake of ours we will refund your postage costs. For all other returns you will need to pay for the postage to return the jewellery safely to us.

Your statutory rights are not affected by the Curved Rose returns policy.

Curved Rose Gift Vouchers

The conditions apply to the purchase and use of all Gift Vouchers and by purchasing Gift Vouchers you agree to be legally bound by the conditions. We have the right to amend or vary these conditions from time to time at our sole discretion. 


Use of Curved Rose Gift Vouchers
The Gift Voucher is valid for use on the Curved Rose web site (www.curvedrose.com), as full or part payment for the purchase of all products, with the exception of Gift Vouchers.

Gift Vouchers may not be used to purchase other Gift Vouchers from Curved Rose.

You may give the Gift Voucher to anyone else to use. Please make sure that you and / or they keep the Gift Voucher safe, as anyone who has access to the Gift Voucher code will be able to redeem it.  



Where the Gift Voucher is less than the total transaction value, the user will be required to make up the difference in price by making an online payment using a debit or credit card.

When you use the Gift Voucher the amount of the transaction value will be deducted from the balance on the Gift Voucher. The remaining Gift Voucher balance can be used for future transactions at Curved Rose, using the same Gift Voucher code.

Cancellation and Refunds
In line with Distance Selling Regulations, you may cancel the Gift Voucher during the seven day ‘Cooling off period’, which starts on the date of gift voucher purchase and ends seven calendar days later.

If you wish to cancel a Gift Voucher order within the ‘cooling off period’, please contact Curved Rose at customercare@curvedrose.com. You will need to provide us with the voucher(s) code and the order reference number.

Refunds will only be given to the original debit / credit card which was used to purchase the gift vouchers (ie. to the person who purchased the vouchers).

Once a refund has been issued the Gift Voucher code(s) will be deleted by Curved Rose and no longer valid for use.

Returning Products which were Purchased using Gift Vouchers
If you need to ‘exchange’ a product which was purchased using Curved Rose Gift Vouchers, you may do so within 30 days of receipt of your original order and in line with our Returns Policy.

If the value of the alternative product is greater than the value of the original product you will need to make a debit / credit card payment to make up the balance. Contact returns@curvedrose.com if you need to exchange an item.

If the value of the alternative product is less than the value of the original product you will be issued with a new Gift Voucher code for the outstanding balance, which can be used against future purchases.

Refunds for products purchased with Curved Rose Gift Vouchers will only be given in line with our returns policy and can only be given to the original card holder / purchaser of the gift vouchers (using the card that was used to purchase the vouchers).

Liability
Keep you Gift Voucher code safe. Curved Rose will not be liable for any Gift Vouchers that are lost, stolen or used by a third party.

Curved Rose will also not be liable if you provide incorrect information when purchasing the voucher, which results in the voucher being sent to an incorrect recipient. You must ensure that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

You acknowledge that Curved Rose is entitled to handle any personal information (either your own or that of a gift voucher recipient) that you supply when purchasing a Gift Voucher in accordance with our Privacy Policy on our web site, which forms part of these conditions.    


Hallmarked Jewellery

By law, certain items of jewellery require a hallmark from a registered hallmarking office. Curved Rose hallmarking is carried out in the Edinburgh assay office. A symbol of a castle is visible to the far right hand side of the hallmark to represent this. The hallmark also shows the Curved Rose jewellery makers mark and the number relating to the carat of the piece.

Curved Rose makes every effort to ensure that its products are safe to wear.

Repairs and Alterations

Some repairs and alterations can be carried out, but may incur a small charge.

If you wish to have a repair or alteration to an item of Curved Rose jewellery please email us at customercare@curvedrose.com with you name, contact details and description of the work to be carried out.

We will discuss your requirement with our workshop and let you know if your request is possible and the cost.
